On Wednesday we welcomed our new paraprofessionals to G-E-T for New Para Onboarding Day. The morning included learning the essentials with district office staff, exploring strategies to support student learning with Superintendent Michele Butler, and discovering ways to use iPads in the classroom with Technology Integration Specialist Rob Kamrowski. The morning ended with lunch alongside their mentors, followed by time in the afternoon for paraprofessionals to connect within their school buildings. Our mission is learning for all, learning for life, and today our newest staff embraced that mission. Welcome to G-E-T! We are confident you will make a positive difference in helping our students succeed.

G-E-T welcomed new teaching staff to the district this week for New Teacher Inservice. Staff spent time learning systems, procedures, technology and also took a tour of the district on a school bus. Welcome to G-E-T!

High School and Middle School Athletes,
If you need to drop off completed athletic paperwork, or need to pick up paperwork to get completed, you can stop at the Middle School office between 8:00am and 3:00pm. Remember, you cannot start practice until all paperwork is filled out and turned in.

We are looking for a creative, student-centered educator to join our team as an Elementary Library Teacher! This 83% position is all about sparking a love of reading and supporting learners across our elementary schools. A teaching license is required, but no LMS license (1902) is needed for this one year position.

It may be a little less than four months away, but the cast of the fall musical, "Sister Act" kicked off their summer camp today as the start the process of putting the show together. For 5 days they will work through music in the show to get them ready rehearsals when school starts and for the November 7-9 performances. Tickets will go on sale this fall, but mark your calendars now and save the date!

The G-E-T Marching Band, under the direction of band director Mr. Hanson, kicked off their new year at the Galesville 4th of July Parade. Partnering with the G-E-T Dance Team the group entertained throughout the route. As one band member said, "It may have been hot, but we know how much our community has done for us. We can march in hot weather to thank them." Way to go, Red Hawks!
