Parent/Athlete Meeting

All aboard for learning!
Mrs. Ruud's Summer School class recently enjoyed a day of learning in the community with a train ride from Winona to La Crosse. Before boarding the train, students shared lunch together and toured the museum at Winona National Bank, making for a day filled with new experiences and meaningful learning.
Throughout the summer, students in Mrs. Ruud's class have been building important life skills by getting out into the community and participating in authentic, real world experiences. Whether practicing social skills, building independence, exploring new places, making meals, or learning how to navigate different community settings, each experience helps students grow in confidence and prepares them for life beyond the classroom.
At G-E-T, we believe learning extends far beyond school walls. Experiences like these are a wonderful example of our mission of Learning for All, Learning for Life, providing every student with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive through meaningful experiences that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to Mrs. Ruud and everyone who helped make this memorable day possible!

The temperatures were high, but so was the Red Hawk pride!
Today, the G-E-T Marching Band and Dance Team proudly represented our school and community at the Trempealeau Catfish Days Parade. We are incredibly proud of our students, who showed resilience, dedication, and outstanding musicianship while performing in the summer heat.
The G-E-T Marching Band is grateful for the incredible support it receives throughout the year from our families and the entire G-E-T community. Community events like Catfish Days provide a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back by sharing their talents and helping bring energy and excitement to local celebrations. It is an honor to represent our schools and the communities that support us so well.
Experiences like these remind us that some of the most meaningful learning happens beyond the classroom. Students build teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, leadership, and pride while creating memories that will last a lifetime. It is another example of our mission in action: Learning for All, Learning for Life.
Thank you to everyone who cheered on our Red Hawks today, and thank you to our students, directors, staff, families, and volunteers for making another outstanding performance possible.

The G-E-T High School Marching Band is officially back on the parade route!
After just a week and a half of summer break, these dedicated student musicians were already back together, rehearsing and preparing for their first parade of the season at the Galesville Lions Summerfest Parade. Their commitment, teamwork, and pride in representing G-E-T were on full display as they marched through Galesville and the Trempealeau County Fairgrounds today.
Marching band is about much more than music. It teaches responsibility, perseverance, collaboration, and the value of working toward a common goal. Experiences like these help bring our mission of Learning for All, Learning for Life to life by providing students with opportunities to grow both in and out of the classroom.
If you missed today's performance, you'll have two more chances to see the band this summer at Trempealeau Catfish Days Parade in July
and Ettrick Family Fun Days Parade in August
Thank you to our students, Mr. Hanson, families, and supporters for helping keep the tradition of G-E-T Marching Band strong.

What a great day on the course!
Today, members of the G-E-T administration team traded meetings for fairways as they participated in the annual G-E-T Golfin' Golf Outing at the Ettrick Golf Course. Whether golfing with community members or helping work holes throughout the course, our team was proud to be part of this outstanding event that supports students across the district.
A huge thank you to the G-E-T Education Foundation for organizing this annual fundraiser and for their unwavering commitment to our schools. The Foundation's support helps provide valuable opportunities and experiences for students that extend learning beyond the classroom.
The photos capture just a small part of today's event, but they also highlight something bigger: the strong partnership between our schools and community. It takes all of us working together to create opportunities for students, and today's outing was another great example of that commitment.
Thank you to the Foundation, sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and supporters who helped make the day a success. Your investment in our students helps bring our mission of Learning for All, Learning for Life to life every day.
