Infinite Campus Transition

Beginning in Summer 2026, the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District will transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus as our new Student Information System (SIS).

Infinite Campus will become the district’s primary platform for student information, attendance, grading, schedules, communication, online registration, and fees management.

As part of this transition, Infinite Campus will replace:

  • PowerSchool SIS

  • PowerSchool Online Registration

  • SchoolMessenger

  • SafeArrival

  • eFunds for Schools

This transition is an important step forward as we continue working to improve the experience for students, families, and staff by streamlining systems and providing a more unified experience across district services.

Throughout this process, our goal is to make the transition as smooth and supportive as possible. District staff are actively participating in training, preparation, and data migration work to ensure we are ready for the 2026–2027 school year.

This webpage will serve as the central location for updates, important dates, training information, frequently asked questions, and support resources related to the transition.

Transition Timeline

Spring 2026

  • District implementation begins

  • Staff training and preparation underway

  • Data migration and system setup in progress

  • Family communication rollout begins

  • Teacher Coaches and support teams established

  • June 1st family and student access to PowerSchool and eFunds shut off.

Summer 2026

  • Online Registration opens for families

  • Campus Parent account information released

  • Staff training sessions begin

  • Data validation and testing completed

  • Transportation updates and forms distributed

  • Mobile app information shared with families

August 2026

  • Final staff readiness and support sessions

  • Student schedules finalized

  • Parent and student access activated

  • District support teams available for assistance

  • Infinite Campus becomes the district’s primary Student Information System

2026-27 School Year

  • Daily use of Infinite Campus by students, staff, and families

  • Continued training and support opportunities

  • Ongoing system improvements and optimization

  • Additional resources and guides added throughout the school year

Online Registration

As part of the transition to Infinite Campus, online registration for both new and returning students will take place during Summer 2026 rather than in the spring as it has in previous years.

This adjusted timeline allows the district to ensure student information is accurately transferred into the new system before registration opens.

Families will receive:

  • Notification when online registration becomes available

  • Instructions for accessing and completing registration

  • Information about any required forms or updates

Campus Parent and Campus Student Portals

The Campus Parent and Campus Student Portals empower families and students to stay informed about school activities. These portals not only provide a convenient place to check student details regarding attendance, scheduling, and grades but also enable schools to streamline various processes, including school fees, required forms, and assignment submissions.

Families will receive an email after online registration application has been filled out and processed with information about creating the Parent Portal Account.

Campus Parent App

Stay connected to your student's education anytime, anywhere. The Campus Parent app gives parents and guardians convenient access to grades, attendance, assignments, schedules, fees, school messages, and more, all from your mobile device.

Campus Student App

The Campus Student app helps students stay organized and informed by providing quick access to grades, assignments, attendance, schedules, and school announcements from their mobile device.

Food Service

The Food Service tool allows you to see what meals and food items were purchased as well as add money to your Food Service account.

From here you can view also view

  • current account balances,

  • money in and money out, and

  • adjustments made to your account by the school office.

The number of accounts that appear on this screen depend on whether you are a student, a parent, or a parent with access to multiple students.

Getting Started with Food Service

Free & Reduced Lunch Application

Applications for Free and Reduced-Price Meals are now available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Families can securely complete and submit their application online from any device. Only one application per household is required each school year.

If you believe your household may qualify for meal benefits, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

To get started with the online application, in your Parent Portal navigate to More > Meal Benefits.

Free & Reduced Lunch Application Help

Fees and Optional Fee Payments

Families can now manage Food Service, Student Fees, and Optional Fee Payments through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and Campus Parent mobile app.

From one convenient location, you can:

  • Add money to meal accounts

  • View meal balances and purchase history

  • Pay student fees

  • Purchase optional items, including Student iPad Insurance

We encourage families to log in before the start of the school year to review their accounts and complete any payments.

Transportation Information

Due to the timing of the system transition, any changes to transportation information will temporarily require a paper form during Summer 2026.

This includes:

  • New transportation requests

  • Changes to pickup or drop-off locations
