GET Middle School students had the opportunity to hear Denise and Kim Rostad share the remarkable story of their mother, Mary Rostad. During World War II, Mary participated in the Belgian Resistance and the French Underground. Her book, Squirrel Is Alive, is studied in 7th-grade ELA classes to deepen students’ understanding of the Holocaust and World War II
