The Middle School Band performed at the Trempealeau Memorial Day program, and several of our middle school trumpet players then traveled to area cemeteries to perform Taps as part of local remembrance ceremonies.
Our High School Band performed at the Galesville Memorial Day program at 9:00 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center before traveling to Ettrick for their 11:00 a.m. ceremony.
Experiences like these are a powerful example of our district pillar of Family and Community Partnerships in action. Our students are not only learning music, they are learning the importance of service, tradition, and being active members of the communities they call home.
At G-E-T, our mission of Learning for All, Learning for Life extends far beyond the classroom. We are proud of our student musicians for sharing their talents, representing our schools so well, and helping bring our communities together on this meaningful day.
Thank you to our students, directors, families, service members, and community members who made today special.

Today, our Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau community came together under the sun for our annual 4K Picnic. There is nothing quite like seeing our youngest learners, their families, and our dedicated staff enjoying a meal and some sunshine together.
A huge THANK YOU to:
Our Families: For joining us and being such vital partners in your child’s first steps of their school journey.
The 4K Crew: Our incredible teachers and staff who worked tirelessly to coordinate this event and keep the energy high.
The Community: For making G-E-T such a supportive place for our schools to thrive.
Days like today remind us that 4K isn't just about the classroom—it’s about building the foundation of a strong, connected community.

Today our youngest Red Hawks took part in the 4K STEAM Roadshow at the G-E-T High School Multipurpose Room!
Students rotated through hands on stations led by high school students and staff, exploring creativity, building, problem solving, art, engineering, and more. At the same time, 4K teachers had the opportunity to work with our Technology Integration Specialist, Mr. Kamrowski, to explore innovative ways to support learning in the classroom.
A special thank you to the students in the Child Development class at G-E-T High School who helped during both the AM and PM sessions by assisting with and leading stations throughout the day.
A huge thank you as well to all of the staff who helped make the event possible. Events like this are a great example of our mission of Learning for All, Learning for Life and our belief that students should use technology to create, collaborate, and explore.
It was an awesome day of curiosity, creativity, and connection across grade levels. Go Red Hawks!
